Tai's Art Works

Tai, a passionate artist. I have known Tai and May since we were teen. Those were really fantastic old days, my friends.

At that time.... both of us were young and energetic. We had a common stream of thought - we had fantasy in fine art. We know each other while we were studying in Hong Kong Fine Art School. Because of our enthusiasm in fine art, we used to go for outdoor sketching together. We drew a lot of pictures. Tai and May were watercolor painters. We used to discuss and share the techniques in drawing. Later on, I was distracted by other interest and moved away from my favorite fine art business. May got into graphic design career. Tai got into construction industry but his faith in fine art was still not diminishing. He keeps on his efforts on water painting.... Later on, Tai and May got married. Then I left for Canada.

At the end of the year 2009, I went back to Hong Kong and by the chance I met May. May invited me to see Tai's exhibition for his painting in Hong Kong Cultural Center. I met Tai there. His look was changed but I felt that the fire of fine art was still burning from his heart. I can really see the passion from Tai's paintings. I can also see, with his experience in life, the Buddhists' wisdom and compassion are unintentionally reflected in Tai's paintings. The harmony of his paintings tells us how beautiful and marvellous the life is......

Everyone is holding our own color pen. We are free to draw our pictures in life with millions and millions wonderful colors. Colors are controlled by our own mind. Happiness or sadness are all dependent by our attitude towards our daily life. We should choose to go the brighter side. We should promote love, peace and beauty of the human being. Light up oneself, light up others, and light up the world with truth, compassion and beauty.

Tai, please keep your excellent efforts and let the fire of fine art burning wild. Fine art represents the high destine of human being. It combines of Truth, Compassion, and Beauty - the perfectionism of human kind. They make the world look different.
